The selected ceiling system determines the possible wall junctions. The choice is then made from several different options. The concept for the character and layout of the interior governs the final decision.
Ecophon's ceiling tiles are light and easy to cut on site, which is very important in minimising installation time. Perimeter tiles can be trimmed to size easily using a thin-bladed knife. The edges are well defined and have high dimensional accuracy.
The proportion of tiles needing cutting is greater than often expected. In a rectangular room using 600x600 mm tiles, the majority of tiles are cut if the room is less than 17 square metres.
