With this solution, the ceiling surface stops a short distance from the wall. A small shadow is created between ceiling and wall.
If this detail is used for acoustic ceilings with concealed grid systems, the whole of the flat ceiling surface will be defined by a thinly formed shadow.
The shadow outline at the perimeter has the same value as those created between the panels in acoustic ceilings with recessed grid systems. Used together with such a ceiling, the true effect of this solution is emphasised.
The ceiling panels are trimmed to the precise dimensions on site, and the section surface is painted. The junction between ceiling and wall is distinct and neat.
