Inlets - for cables, cords and pipes
Sometimes holes have to be made after the suspended ceiling has been dimensioned and constructed.
For example, many suspended fittings and other cable inlets are connected directly to an item that is only installed when the user moves into the premises.

Using this method, such inlets can be made in a distinct, neat way after the ceiling has been installed. A hole of approx. 100 mm in diameter is made as required, and the actual cable inlet is in a "protective cover" that rests on the panel. It is the larger hole´s exact, painted, interface that is visible - the cable inlet rests in the shade. With this design the suspended ceiling can retain a full, floating effect, even though it has been punctured.
